Behind the scenes of the wedding pictures

Dad and Grandma...it was chilly outside in the shade. It was a nice picture moment.

The grounds crew was working on setting up for the pagent festivities for the Christmas season. They left the golf cart right where the pictures were being taken, so SD and SV decided to "drive." It kept them busy for at least 10 minutes.

SD was curious about the decorations being set up for the pagent. Here she is helping arrange the manger for baby Jesus. The gal who was decorating was kind, patient and very encouraging which warmed my heart as she taught SD about what she was doing.

SD had to get in on the picture action too. Thankfully, it was after the professional photographer was done with the family shots.

SV and J "walking" back to the car to leave the temple grounds. SV always finds new ways to get from point A to point B...usually not the fastest, nor the easiest, but for her, the most fun.

Leavitt Wedding

The new Leavitt Family! We had a wonderful opportunity to make a whirwind trip (we left on Wednesday night and returned home on Saturday) to St. George for Thanksgiving to share memories with S's Aunt L. She was sealed for eternity to a man (new Uncle L) who swept her off her feet. What a beautiful family!!

They were radiating that day. It was an amazing experience to witness such an occasion. We were so lucky to be able to attend.

What more can we say?

Another family shot.

For real...we are having a...

Baby's feet were up by his/her head. It was fun to see how he/she was positioned.
Fun profile picture.
Here's a picture of baby holding up a finger from his/her hand.
Another foot picture by baby's face.
I have to say that this experience was much better than my previous ultrasound. We were in the office for about 2 seconds and the sonographer asked us what we were having. We promptly explained that baby wasn't very cooperative last time and the technician doing it wasn't very nice. She made sure that we wanted to know what we were having first (DUH!!) and then checked it out before she did anything else. Less than 10 seconds later, she said...
"You're having a GIRL!"
I did ask her for a percentage of positiveness and she told me that she wouldn't have said anything unless she knew for sure. Yeah, that does make #3 for us, but we are happy that we know and can now prepare more before the holidays (that start next week, well, J's birthday is sooner than that, but hey, everyone else's holidays). We have already painted the room a beautiful Pale Daffodil (lighter yellow), which was already in the plans regardless of gender. On Friday the girls and I went shopping to get a couple of cute things for her too. It was fun.
We have pretty much decided on a name and it follows the S thing for the girls that was NEVER intentional until this one. For security purposes, you can call or email if you want to know, but we don't want to publish it online. Have a fantastic day!

Hanging out in our jammies...

SV really likes to put on shoes that are not her own and clomp around the house laughing.

SV and J cheesing for the camera. SV gets to the point where she can't walk when she gets laughing so hard. J was trying to help steady her (his shoes are big and heavy).

SD loves to tickle and K was a sitting duck under the blanket. She wanted him to play with her and this is how she gets his attention.

Great picture of K. Can't say more, can I?
