Babies change so quickly...

SC is now 3 weeks old. My how time flies.

K took these pictures over my shoulder last night. She was so alert.

This was earlier, before she woke up. It's also a very common sight to see around our house. She loves to be held and to sleep on my chest.

This was during a diaper change when her attention was directed toward the mobile. We are trying to figure out if she will have an innie or an outie belly button.

Same diaper change, but after she was re-clothed...still captivated by the mobile.

Our Family...minus one

I had wanted to get one last family picture before SC entered the world for months. During that time I went from feeling pregnant and cute to enormous (and on bedrest). So, the Monday before SC came (on Thursday), I convinced J and my mom to haul us down to the studio and get one last session in. I think our family picture turned out pretty well and the girls' shots are fantastic. I was so pleased with how it went off.

The girls...minus one.

The photographer talked us into getting one of the girls in their sweaters that they wore for the family picture. I am glad, because I think this is super sweet...although I am not excited about how she pushed SDs hair to the one side.

SV was trying to smell the flower and all we got were her big blue eyes. In print this picture is my favorite...so vibrant.

SD was being a big goofy this go round. She kept "acting," but not in a good way...finally she relaxed and here she is, mostly normal. Again, in print this picture is vibrant. Maybe it's just my old monitor. LOL!!!

We wanted to have one more of the girls and this definitely shows their personalities. This is how they are most of the time. They love to play together, be silly and make each other laugh. This was the last shot and worth the difficult moments in the studio.

President Hinckley

I gained my testimony during the time that Gordon B. Hinckley was prophet. He will always have a special place in my heart. His spirit and wit will be missed.

My #2 has her birthday today!!

We recently went to get our pictures taken and this was a super sweet one that I didn't order any prints of. I am not a terrible mother...the other ones are better.

For any of you who have been around when we take pictures, you know that I have to take about a dozen of SV before she will relax enough for the picture to be normal. This is a typical picture of the 11 shots before the normal one.

I want to tell you about my beautiful SV. She is full of energy, very observant, super helpful, loves her new baby sister, loves her parents, loves her older sister (most of the time), has the BEST LAUGH ever, will never grow out of the "blankie" phase, still has cow milk tolerance issues, is bigger than her older sister (by almost a full size), doesn't think she is a little sister anymore since she has a little sister, has yellow and pink as her favorite colors (which she wears at least one of each daily), is always concerned about the people around her (if you have ever gone on a car ride with her, you know what I mean), loves anything sweet (candy, cake, anything that could be classified as a "treat"), is loud (I wonder who she gets that from), has a sincere heart, loves to sing and dance, and gives tons of great kisses. I love her dearly and am excited to watch her grow and learn about the world around her. She is my beautiful, most favorite SV!

Welcome Home Little One!

We came home after the standard couple of days in the hospital to find that someone had decorated our front room. It was super cute!

As I began to look a little closer at the sign, I realized that a few of my best friends from Utah had written it out and embellished each letter. I was extremely puzzled because it didn't seem like they would have had time to make it and mail it...then for me to received it ALL before I came home. Then from the hallway walks out E, K and R with RL and MA. They totally came out to see my new beautiful baby, share those first couple days helping out and make sure that I knew they cared...DUH!! I am so grateful for their spontaneity and generosity.

Here's R holding SC.

Here's K holding SC.

And last, but definitely not least, E grabbing a bite in between all the other stuff. I realized that I never took a good picture of her with SC the whole time she was there. That makes me so sad!

1-2 skip a few (posts)...here's our latest addition

Here are pictures of our latest addition to our family. She's a few days old now (she was born last week) and starting to show her personality. If you want more details, please email me.

If you look closely, you can see how much she weighed.

Nice hat!

She's a couple of hours old here...less of the squishy newborn look. (c:
Mom and baby are doing well. We are very grateful for the support that we have here and all the well wishes from afar. Thank you!!
