A short trip into the hills allows us the opportunity to experience the wonders of a place called Apple Hill. There are more than 2 dozen "farms" that sell apples, crafty things, have fun things for the kids, etc. We have a couple of favorites (from last year and this year), like Plubell's where they have animals to feed, a tire swing to ride, pumpkins, gourds, & apples to buy. The girls liked touching the "warty" gourds. Oma purchased a unique one to display with her others.
There was a friendly goat who liked Oma...it made us laugh for a while, and hoped that she wouldn't have a headache too.
SV was helping SD on the tire swing. They were so brave considering how high it swung. One of those times when I underestimated my girls and their strength. Both SD & SV rode it more than once.
Opa and SV found a couple of pigs in a pen that was out of the way. The pigs weren't there last year, but a highlight for SV. They did stink though.
I was trying to get a good picture with SV and a pumpkin, so this was one of the best!!
